Is your 3rd - 6th Grade Student Registered for Harrisburg Youth Football? Equipment pass out will be July 22nd and 23rd from 5-7. You can turn in your registration form at equipment pick up.
Here is information regarding those students in grades 7-12 who will be participating in athletics and activities at Harrisburg starting this fall. Items needed for participation in fall sports & activities at Harrisburg:
1. MSHSAA Preparticipation Physical Form - a physical is valid for 2 years from the date of the examination by the physician.

2. MSHSAA Preparticipation Annual Form - this form must be completed annually by the family for each student participating in an activity

3. Activity fee of $25/student - fee must be paid annually and it covers all sports & activities the student participates in for the 2025-26 school year. Checks should be made out to "Harrisburg R-VIII"
4. 2025-26 Harrisburg Athletic Handbook signatures by the parent/guardian and the student must be completed before the first contest/event. Handbooks will be available at Open House on August 14th

The Harrisburg Lady Bulldogs are playing today in the Centralia Team Camp. Coach Murphy and the girls are prepping for the fall campaign. #BulldawgPride
Cross Country summer workouts begin July 8, 9, and 10. Meet up at the high school. Girls will go from 7 to 8am. Guys will go from 8 to 9am. Bring a water bottle. Open to all MS and HS athletes. #BulldawgPride

Seniors KyAnn Langdon, Audrey Reedy, and Carly Class wrapped up a week at Girls State this past week. They enjoyed the 2025 ALA Missouri Girls State session from July 21-28 at Lindenwood University. #BulldawgPride

FYI FRIDAY - WEEK 3 - On April 3, 2024 Proposition 1 was passed to offer property tax relief to eligible senior citizens in Boone County.
An eligible taxpayer is defined as a Boone County, Missouri resident who:
- Is sixty-two (62) years of age or older before January 1 of the initial credit year; and
- Is an owner of record of a homestead or has a legal or equitable interest in such property as evidenced by a written instrument; and
- Is liable for the payment of real property taxes on such homestead.

Youth football camp will be in the high school gym today from 3:15-4:45 due to heat. Please make sure your child has a pair of shoes.
The Middle School enjoyed cooling off at the Centralia Pool today. They had a fantastic time!
The Middle School really enjoyed being sprayed with water from the Harrisburg Boone County Fire Department today! It was a nice and hot day to cool down! Thank you to the Fire Department for coming out! The kids loved it!
