In preparation of our 2024 Veterans Day Program we are collecting images of our local Veterans and Servicemen and Women for a slideshow that will play during the event. We are so thankful for the Boone County Fire Protection District and their involvement in our schools. Today, they came to discuss fire prevention week. They talked about how to keep safe at home by having working smoke alarms in each bedroom, having fire extinguishers in areas like the kitchen and garage and how to work them, having an exit plan and meeting spot in case of a fire at home, and knowing their address in the case they need to call 911. We are blessed with the best firefighters around! Thanks Norman Hinkle, Kaila M Pollard, Clint, and John!
