Harrisburg XC had three runners in action today at the Class 2 state championships. They were led by Josey Whitaker (39th overall) followed by Jackie Stidham (60th) and Marie Bergfield (69th). All three runners ran fast races.
Whitaker ran her 3rd-best time ever, and finishes a great season where she beat her own school record, won 2 races outright, finished top-5 in five different races, and was all-district for the 2nd time.
Stidham finishes the season as the fastest Harrisburg freshman ever, with 4 top-10 race finishes, and the 3rd fastest 5k in Harrisburg history. She was all-district. Her run today was an 18-second PR.
Bergfield finishes the season as the 4th fastest runner in Harrisburg History. She was all district for the 3rd time, finished top-10 in four different races, ending her season with a 35-second PR. #BulldawgPride
