Boone Electric taught our kindergarten and first graders about Arbor Day last week! The crew shared the importance of protecting and planting trees, showed us their equipment, and demonstrated how they go up in the bucket to trim trees for safety around power lines. A few students helped them plant two new trees on our playground. Each student got to take a sapling home to plant as well. What a wonderful way for our young learners to celebrate both Earth and Arbor Day!
